About: The workshop will consist of tips and tools that youth can use in the adult health care system. The workshop will also address the differences from a paediatric hospital to an adult hospital. The youth will be able to take knowledge back to their health care team, and become more prepared for the transition. Guest Speaker:
Sabrina is currently the Nurse Clinician for the Division of Adolescent Health and Medicine at BC Children’s Hospital. One of her main focuses is helping youth prepare for the transition into adult health care.

About: Employment is always an important topic for youth. Once again this summer, the Services Canada Centre for Youth Team will be doing a workshop for Bridges to the Future. The youth centre is a summer program run by youth, for youth. University students help youth with everything related to employment! For this session they are going to go over what makes for a good cover letter, resume and interview skills and what youth should keep in mind when working on gaining employment.
